How do I get to Mariposa?
Fly into Belize City (BZE), then take a 30-minute domestic flight to the Placencia airstrip (PLJ), or drive ~3 hours down the coast. We’re happy to arrange your transfer.
When is the best time to visit?
High season runs November through April with warm, dry weather. The greener low season (June–October) offers lower rates and quieter beaches — with the occasional afternoon shower.
Is the restaurant open to non-guests?
Yes. The Breezeway — Placencia’s #1-rated restaurant — welcomes both resort guests and the public for lunch, dinner, and sunset cocktails.
